Fuzzy is looking for a home for the upcoming school vacation, 11/22-26. She can be picked up anytime on Tuesday and you can take her in her cage, and travel bag with everything she needs. Familes are also welcome to take her on weekends! Send me an email at akahofer@wwsu.org if you are interested in having Fuzzy for Thanksgiving or an upcoming weekend. Thank you! -Ms. Amy
Our second "4 Winds" lesson was all about erosion. Addison's mom and Gunner's mom taught us all about the forces that create erosion. We looked at how, over time, the powerful agents of erosion have shaped and formed our landscape. Gravity, water, wind and ice are constantly weathering, wearing away and moving rocks, soil, sand and sediments, and depositing them elsewhere. We had a lot of fun exploring different ways in which erosion takes place.
We have been studying owls this week! We learned why owls hoot, listened to their different calls, read many books both fiction and non-fiction and created lots of crafts! Our paper bag owls look so cute hanging up in our classroom!
